As leaders, we know that a great tango experience is created when the followers have a wonderful time. Our entire approach to organizing is based on this. We stick to the basics – a beautiful spacious venue, wonderful Golden Age music, and a welcoming atmosphere.
Ravi K. Bhaskar
Tango found Ravi in 2003. He was enthralled by the music long before he had the vocabulary to express it in dance. Growing up fluently multilingual, Ravi decided to go to the source – Buenos Aires – and learn the language and collect the music. He has since been back 14 times and plans to spend half his retirement time there.
Ravi organizes the monthly milonga in Kansas City – La Milonga de Los Peregrinos which recently celebrated its 39th event. By sticking to the basics – good music from the Golden Age, a beautiful venue, and a welcoming atmosphere, La Milonga de Los Peregrinos is the longest running successful milonga in Kansas City.
