Ashvin has been DJing since 2010 and his tandas stand out for being unpredictable and extraordinarily evocative of the experience of some of the best milongas in Buenos Aires..

Ashvin has played all over Buenos Aires in multiple DJ tours (6 tours and 45 events as of May 2024). These milongas include Parakultural, Porteño y Bailarin, Gente Amiga, Cachirulo, La Rosa, Yira Yira, La Del Centro, Champagne, Balmaceda, El Motivo and others. In November 2022, Ashvin was interviewed by the Buenos Aires Tango Radio station La 2×4 FM92.7, after his work was hailed as seminal.

Very soon after Tango found Kim, she became fascinated by the music. After receiving encouragement from Cleveland organizers and DJs, she started working in her own community. Along her DJ journey, she trained with Hernán Prieto, Susana Miller, and Fernando “El Sobrino,” which greatly influenced her technique and style. She works consistently as a regular host in Cleveland and guest DJ throughout North America. Kim’s style is best characterized as one that creates a positive, upbeat vibe with a focus on the subtle beauty and diversity of the music. Her mission is to play inspiring, trustworthy sets so that you can dance your best tandas.

Andy is a passionate tango DJ who has been spinning tunes for dancers across the USA and Europe since 2012. He loves to create musical journeys that blend the best of the Golden Age with some surprises and twists. His tandas are carefully crafted to evoke different emotions and moods, from romantic to dramatic, from playful to intense. He also likes to share his musical choices with the audience, using an external monitor to display the current and next tanda in a clear and helpful way.

When the pandemic hit, Andy did not let that stop him from bringing joy and connection to the tango community. He hosted weekly virtual milongas on Zoom, called Tandas Around the World, where dancers could enjoy his music and chat with each other. 

DJ Fatima began her tango journey in the UK. She fell in love with the elegance, energy, playfulness, romance, and sometimes quirkiness of tango. The layered emotions and stories expressed in tango movement are completely connected to the music. As a DJ, her focus is to provide the best possible mix of tandas from the 1930’s, 40’ and 50’s to inspire dancers to dance their tango stories.

She regularly DJ’s traditional and alternative milongas for local Colorado organizers and has DJ’d at several festivals including TTX (Toronto Tango Exchange), Tango on the Rocks, and Close Encounters.

Ali is a milonguero, DJ, and photographer based in Chicago. His passion for tango stems from the beauty and elegance of the music and the movement of tango, which he continues to explore through his artistic work.

As a DJ, Ali is the proud winner of the 2024 International cincOH DJ Competition. He has spun tunes at renowned tango events, including the Windy City Tango Festival, Denver Tango Festival, and Cleveland Tango Marathon, among others. With a deep passion for traditional tango music—ranging from the gems of the old guard to the golden age of tango—Ali’s musical selections help dancers connect with the sound, the floor, and one another, creating a seamless dance experience.

Sandi has a keen taste and sharp knowledge of orquestas, resulting in well-constructed tandas that “make sense” in addition to being creative and fresh. Sandi has been intimate with traditional tango music since 2010. She has DJed at many local events such as Milonga Época in Oakland, Besos, Marin Matinee, House Tango and others, and she often draws applause at the end of her sets!
